The majority of dogs we rescue have medical issues such as needing heartworm treatment, dental work, bloodwork and even to be spayed or neutered if this hasn’t been done (even at an advanced age this can help prevent health problems such as cancer). Some dogs have skin issues and we’ve even had a couple who have needed double knee surgery. As you can imagine, these costs add up! Please consider donating to the deserving senior dogs we rescue! It’s not their fault their owners dumped them in shelters or let them wander off to become strays looking for help.
